About Talking Dog
Talking Dog is a pet care simulator built around one character: Archie, a corgi who reacts to what you do and repeats what you say back to you. Feeding, washing and playing work the way they do in most care sims, but the part that keeps players returning is the story — episodes unlock as you keep looking after him.
One thing to know before you search for it: on Google Play the game is listed as Virtual Pet Simulator - Archie, not as Talking Dog. Both listings are the same game from the same publisher.

How Talking Dog plays
Archie has the usual care meters — hunger, cleanliness, energy, mood — and each is handled through a short interaction rather than a menu. Talk to him and he repeats it back in a corgi voice, which is where most of the game's humour comes from.
Progress unlocks two things in parallel: furniture and decorations for his home, and story episodes that give the care loop somewhere to go. It rewards a few minutes a day rather than long sessions.
What you can do
- Care for Archie the corgi: feeding, washing, sleep and play
- He repeats what you say back in his own voice
- Story episodes that unlock as you keep playing
- Furniture and decorations for his home
- Mini-games between care routines
Devices and platforms
iPhone, iPad and iPod touch · Android phones and tablets. Pet care works offline. Some features need a connection.
Getting started with Archie
Keep his mood meter up before chasing decorations — episodes unlock faster when he is happy. The mini-games pay out more than routine care does, so if you only have a couple of minutes, play one rather than topping up every meter.
